More Info About Using SchoolFront Mobile: Getting Started with the SchoolFront Mobile App
Login for the First Time
1. Once you have installed the SchoolFront Mobile App on your device, locate the SchoolFront icon and click on it to launch the app.
2. On the welcome screen, read the End User License Agreement and check the checkbox agreeing to the terms, then click the Get Started button.
3. Enter the District URL.
Some users may be employed by multiple districts that use SchoolFront. Such users will use different URLs, usernames, and passwords to access the SchoolFront Mobile app for each of the districts.
Helpful Tip: Although not the case 100% of the time, most of the time the SchoolFront Mobile app URL matches that of the district's official website. For example, if "Awesome Central School District" has a website URL, "https://www.awesomeschooldistrict.org," the URL for the SchoolFront Mobile app will likely be "awesomeschooldistrict."
4. Each school district or BOCES organization will provide you with a username and password to access their SchoolFront content. Enter the username and password for the specific organization. And then click the LOGIN button.
5. If it is your first time logging in, the app may give you the option to Enable Biometrics. Select either Not Now to skip this configuration (you can enable it later in the Account section), or Enable Now.
6. You will know you are successfully logged into the SchoolFront Mobile app when the Home screen opens.
Login After Logging Out of the App
If you logout of the SchoolFront Mobile App, the district information and usernames are retained so that you need only to re-enter passwords for each district to reauthenticate.
To log back in after you have logged out:
1. Confirm that you want to log back into the district that you had previously logged in with.
- If the district is correct, tap Validate. It will take you to a login screen with the username you previously entered for the district already entered so all you will have to do is enter the password and tap Login.
- If you do not want to re-login with the same district and/or username that you used before, tap Skip and Remove the district.
You will repeat this process for each district that you had previously logged into the app with.
